Ruston Cattle Company started because of Tommy & Justin’s passion and love for food. They always took great pride in preparing and sharing perfectly cooked and seasoned food with family and friends. Tommy always loved smoking meats like his grandfather taught him and Justin’s love of steaks started him on a quest to find the best quality of steaks in Texas. When Covid hit, the father son duo was furloughed, this gave the two of them the opportunity to share this love and passion with many more. Tommy used his retirement to start a journey of a lifetime and open Ruston Cattle Company. We started as a bar-b-que restaurant, but Justin wanted to share his steaks with the community. At first, we only offered the steaks on the weekend. We soon found that guests loved the steaks and wanted more. Now Ruston Cattle Company brings Tommy’s passion for smoked meat along with Justin’s passion for the perfect steak and the communities desire to have a hometown steakhouse all together. With the addition of old family recipes brought back to life, and a team around them the Texas steakhouse was born.
